Howdy! and a big warm welcome to Branded by Christ Cowboy Church website.  We are a local Christian church that serves the people of Rusk, Texas and the surrounding communities of Cherokee county in rural east Texas. Our culture has a distinctively western heritage character that appeals to folks who work, live and play the cowboy or western way of life around here.

We meet in a climate controlled metal building on eighteen acres with plenty of room to spread out. We have our own rodeo arena, a fellowship center, a separate childrens church and a very talented country/western gospel band that is guaranteed to lift your spirits on Sunday mornings.

We’re on a mission from God to help all the lone rangers out there who are missing something in their life. Maybe there’s an emptiness inside of you, a sense of general boredom, alienation or apathy that all the things you have done, all the things you own, or even your reputation can’t really fill. No accomplishments or list of possessions can fill this void in your life, not even winning the Lotto jackpot will. Oh, you may think it will for awhile, but - you are going to die, and then what?

Only Jesus Christ fits that space in your life that you are missing. We can show you the way to come to know Jesus personally. This is not our Pastor’s opinion nor our church’s opinion, but what Almighty God himself said. It’s God’s way. Our sermons are always Biblical and relevant. We spend our time together looking into God’s Word and exploring how it applies to our lives and how to actually live out the faith.

Should you decide to pay us a visit, and we hope you will, the first thing you will notice is our fellowship and how friendly we all are. You won’t find any mad or disgruntled folks here. It doesn’t matter what you look like or where you’ve been – you will be treated like you belong. Divorced, married or single, black or white, rich or poor,  jeans or suites – it doesn’t matter, come as you are in spirit, spurs and Stetsons, we don’t judge you.
